The rules of the house — bookings, cancellations, safety, and everything else worth knowing before you play.
These Terms & Conditions govern all use of the facilities, bookings, services, memberships, leagues, events, and websites of The Golf Place, Inc., which operates The Golf Place at 43 Summit Square, Suite 202, Langhorne, PA 19047 and Fairways & Dreams at 200 Ridge Pike, Suite 206, Conshohocken, PA 19428 (together, “TGP,” “we,” “us,” “our”).
By booking a bay, entering either facility, purchasing a membership, gift card, lesson, league entry, or event, or using our website, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and everyone in your party.
The things people ask about most: cancel a bay more than 24 hours ahead for a full refund. We hold your bay 15 minutes. Four people per bay, and only one person swings at a time. You are welcome to bring your own beer or wine if you are 21 or over — we do not sell alcohol. Private events are fully refundable up to 7 days out.
These Terms apply to every guest, member, lesson student, league participant, event attendee, and guest of a guest. Whoever makes a reservation or books an event is responsible for making sure everyone in their party follows these Terms, and is financially responsible for their conduct and for any damage they cause.
Golfers of all ages are welcome. Guests under 16 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult aged 21 or over for the entire visit. Guests aged 16 and 17 may book and play unaccompanied only with a parent or guardian's consent on file. A parent or guardian must accept these Terms on behalf of any guest under 18.
Bays are reserved by the hour and priced per bay, not per person — bring as many people as you like within the occupancy limit. Maximum occupancy is 4 people per bay, including anyone not playing.
Only one person may swing a club at a time. Swinging while anyone else is inside the hitting area is extremely dangerous and is grounds for ending your session immediately.
Reservations require a valid payment method at the time of booking. Peak, off-peak, member, and promotional rates apply as posted when you book. Bay assignments are at our discretion and may change; we cannot guarantee a specific bay, simulator, or course. Sessions end at the scheduled time — if you would like to extend and the bay is free, ask a member of staff, and extensions are charged at the then-current rate.
We hold your bay for 15 minutes past your start time. After that we may release it to another guest and your booking is treated as a no-show. Arriving late does not extend your session — your booked end time stands. No-shows are charged the full rate for the time booked.
Cancel or change your reservation with at least 24 hours' notice for a full refund. Cancellations inside 24 hours are charged the full hourly rate for the time booked.
Cancel with at least 24 hours' notice. Inside 24 hours the session is forfeited from your package or charged in full. Lesson packages expire as stated at the time of purchase.
Entry fees are non-refundable once the schedule has been published. See Section 8.
Fully refundable up to 7 days before the event. See Section 9.
Refunds go back to the original payment method and can take 5 to 10 business days to appear. Where we think it is appropriate, we may offer facility credit instead of a cash refund. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in a fee or a temporary loss of booking privileges.
All prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude applicable Pennsylvania sales tax. Posted and online rates may change at any time, but the rate confirmed when you book is the rate you pay for that booking. A service charge may apply to private events and large parties and will be disclosed in advance.
Declined or reversed payments may result in suspension of booking privileges until the account is settled. If you have a problem with a charge, please contact us first — chargebacks filed without giving us a chance to resolve it may result in loss of access to the facility.
Memberships are governed by our separate Membership Terms & Conditions, which cover term length, dues, billing, pausing, cancellation, and tier benefits. Where those Terms conflict with these on a membership-specific matter, the Membership Terms control. Everything else here — conduct, safety, alcohol, liability, damage — applies to members in full.
League and event entry requires payment in full by the posted deadline. Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable once schedules are set, except at our discretion.
Formats, scoring, handicapping, tie-breakers, playoff structure, prize allocation, and simulator settings — tees, wind, green firmness, gimme range, mulligans — are set by TGP and published before play begins. We may adjust them for fairness or feasibility, and our scoring decisions and rulings are final.
Matches must be played within the posted window. Unplayed or forfeited matches are scored according to the published league rules. Deliberate score manipulation, playing another participant's shots, or changing simulator settings to gain an advantage may result in disqualification and forfeiture of entry fees and prizes without refund.
Prizes have no cash value unless stated otherwise, and winners are responsible for any taxes on prizes they receive.
Private events and full-facility buyouts are confirmed by a signed event agreement and a deposit. Payments are fully refundable up to 7 days before the event date. Inside 7 days, payments are non-refundable, because we have turned away other bookings and committed staff to your event.
Final guest counts are due 7 days before the event, and final billing is based on the greater of your guaranteed count or actual attendance. Outside vendors, décor, or entertainment require our prior written approval. Outside food is not permitted; see Section 11 regarding beverages.
The client is responsible for any damage, excessive cleaning, or property loss caused by their group, and authorizes us to charge the card on file for those costs. Where a signed event agreement conflicts with this section, the event agreement controls.
Gift cards are redeemable for bay time, lessons, retail, and merchandise at either location unless stated otherwise. They are not redeemable for cash except where Pennsylvania law requires, carry no expiration date and no dormancy or service fees, and are non-refundable and non-reloadable unless stated. Treat them like cash — we cannot replace a lost or stolen card. Gift cards may not be resold without our written consent, and cards obtained fraudulently may be voided.
Both of our locations are BYOB. We do not hold a liquor license, and we do not sell, serve, or charge for alcohol of any kind. Guests aged 21 and over are welcome to bring their own beer or wine for personal consumption on the premises.
Because we are not a licensed premises, the responsibility sits with you, and a few rules are not negotiable:
Outside food is not permitted, at either location, including for private events, unless we have approved it in writing in advance.
You must follow all posted rules, safety signage, and staff instructions at all times. In particular:
We may refuse entry, end a session, or remove any guest — without refund — for conduct that endangers people or equipment, damages property, involves intoxication or illegal activity, or is abusive or harassing toward staff, members, or other guests. Serious or repeated violations may result in a permanent ban and, for members, termination of membership without refund.
You are responsible for taking reasonable care of everything you use, including simulators, impact screens, projectors, TrackMan units, PuttView equipment, monitors, rental clubs, furniture, and fixtures.
You agree to pay the full cost of repair or replacement — including labor, shipping, and lost bay revenue while the bay is out of service — for damage caused by misuse, negligence, or intentional acts by you or anyone in your party, and you authorize us to charge the payment method on file for those amounts. Staff can tell you the estimated replacement cost of any item on request. Rental clubs must be returned at the end of your session in the condition they were provided.
You are responsible for your own belongings. TGP is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property brought onto or stored at either facility, including clubs, bags, rangefinders, electronics, and items in member bag storage. Bag storage, where offered, is a convenience and is used entirely at your own risk. Unclaimed items may be donated or disposed of after 30 days.
Playing here generates shot, swing, and performance data, and in some bays session video. Some of this is stored by third-party providers, including TrackMan and PuttView, under their own terms and privacy policies, and may be linked to your personal TrackMan account where you use one.
We may use aggregated and de-identified performance data for coaching, operations, leagues, and marketing. Individual scores, handicaps, leaderboard placements, and league results may be displayed in the facility, on our website, and on our social channels. We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or preservation of any shot data, video, or account history, and we are not responsible for data lost through a third-party platform.
Simulator technology is occasionally inaccurate, degraded, or unavailable. We do not warrant measurement accuracy, and normal technical variance is not grounds for a refund. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information.
Golf, including simulator golf, is inherently dangerous. The risks include being struck by a club or a ball, ricochets off screens, walls, and hard surfaces, slips, trips and falls, collisions in the confined space of a bay, strain and overuse injuries, and injury caused by other guests or their equipment. These risks cannot be eliminated.
By entering either facility or taking part in any activity, you knowingly and voluntarily assume those risks for yourself, for any minor children in your care, and for your guests.
To the fullest extent permitted by Pennsylvania law, you release and discharge The Golf Place, Inc., its owners, officers, employees, coaches, contractors, and landlords from all claims for injury, death, illness, or property damage arising from your use of either facility or participation in any activity, except claims arising from our gross negligence or willful misconduct. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and costs arising from your conduct or the conduct of anyone in your party.
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Pennsylvania law.
You confirm that you and your guests are physically able to take part. If you have a medical condition, consult a physician before beginning any golf or fitness activity. In an emergency you consent to us summoning medical assistance, and you are responsible for the cost of any care provided.
We photograph and record events, leagues, and general facility use, and we operate video surveillance for safety and security. By entering either facility or taking part in an event, you consent to our reasonable use of your name, image, likeness, and shot footage for marketing and promotional purposes without further compensation. To opt out, email us and we will make reasonable efforts to exclude you from marketing use going forward.
By giving us your email address or mobile number, you agree to receive messages about your bookings, memberships, leagues, and account. Marketing messages are separate and optional: you can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message, and stop marketing texts by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply and frequency varies. Consent to marketing is never a condition of booking or membership.
Pets are not permitted. Service animals as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act are welcome and must remain under their handler's control at all times.
We may close, delay, or reduce operations because of weather, a utility or internet outage, equipment failure, maintenance, staffing, private events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If we cancel your booking for any of these reasons, you get a full refund or a credit, whichever you prefer. We are not responsible for related costs such as travel. Closures do not extend or credit membership dues except as set out in the Membership Terms.
Promotional rates, packages, coupons, and founding-member offers are subject to their own posted terms, cannot be combined unless stated, and are non-transferable. We may change or end a promotion at any time, and we will honor bookings already confirmed under it.
The Golf Place and Fairways & Dreams names, logos, site content, photography, and league branding are our property or used under license, and may not be copied or used commercially without our written permission. Our website and booking tools are provided “as is” and may occasionally be unavailable. Third-party booking, payment, and scheduling platforms operate under their own terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TGP is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of either facility will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Some of these limitations may not apply where Pennsylvania law prohibits them, and nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Talk to us first. Before filing anything, email us at killian@tgp.golf and give us 30 days to put it right. Most problems are a misunderstanding about a charge or a booking and are fixed in a day.
If that does not resolve it, any dispute arising out of these Terms or your use of our facilities will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and both you and TGP consent to that jurisdiction. Either of us may instead bring a qualifying claim in small-claims court. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version always lives on this page with its effective date at the top, and material changes take effect on posting for new bookings. Continuing to use our facilities or services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms, together with any membership, event, or league agreement you sign, form the entire agreement between us. If any provision turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a provision, that is not a waiver of it.
