Privacy policy.

What we collect, why we collect it, and what we never do with it.

Effective August 22, 2026  ·  Last updated August 22, 2026

This policy explains how The Golf Place ("we," "us," "our") handles personal information when you visit our facility at 43 Summit Square, Suite 202, Langhorne, PA 19047, book a bay or lesson, join as a member, enter a league, buy a gift card, or use this website.

We keep this short and specific on purpose. We would rather tell you exactly what happens to your information than bury it in language nobody reads.

The short version: we collect what we need to take your booking, run your membership, and answer your questions. We never sell your personal information for money, and we never see or store your full card number. We do advertise on Meta and Google, which means those companies set cookies here and can recognize you on their platforms — you can opt out of that.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you fill out a form, book, register, or talk to us, we may collect:

Information we collect automatically

Simulator and performance data

When you play, our simulators generate shot, swing, and performance data, and in some bays session video. Where you play under a TrackMan account, that data is associated with your account and stored by TrackMan under its own terms and privacy policy. League scores, leaderboard placements, and event results may be displayed inside the facility, on this website, and on our social channels.

What we do not collect

We never see or store your full payment card number. Card payments are handled entirely by our booking and payment providers. We see only what they show us: the last four digits, card type, and whether a charge succeeded. We also do not collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, or health records.

How we use your information

Cookies and tracking

Site analytics

We measure traffic to this site using our hosting provider's built-in analytics, which works from server logs rather than from a script in your browser. It sets no cookies, assigns you no identifier, and cannot follow you to other websites. It tells us aggregate things — how many people viewed a page, which pages are popular, and which sites sent visitors our way.

Our own cookie

If you sign in to the members area, we set a session cookie named tgp_members_session so you stay signed in. It holds no personal information and expires after 30 days or when you sign out. It is strictly necessary for the members area to work.

Advertising cookies

We advertise on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google. To do that, those companies place measurement tags on this site — commonly called pixels — which set their own cookies and collect your IP address, the pages you view here, and actions such as starting a booking or requesting information.

Meta and Google use that information to show you our ads on their platforms and elsewhere, to measure whether those ads worked, and to build audiences of people who resemble our existing customers. This means these companies can recognize you as someone who visited our site and can show you our advertising later. They act as independent businesses in this respect and use the data under their own privacy policies, which we do not control. Section Advertising and your choices explains how to switch this off.

Embedded content from other companies

Some pages embed booking widgets, a map, or a video player. When you load a page containing that content, or click through to a booking or payment provider, that provider may set its own cookies and receive your IP address under its own privacy policy.

Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers let you reject third-party cookies specifically, which stops the advertising cookies described above. The members area will not work without our own cookie. We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals where our advertising partners support them, and the opt-out routes below work regardless.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we never sell or rent our customer list.

We do want to be straight with you about one thing, because plain language beats a technicality here. As described above, we share limited browsing information with Meta and Google so we can advertise to people who have visited our site. Several state privacy laws classify that kind of sharing as a “sale” or as “sharing for targeted advertising” even though no money changes hands and we receive nothing but ad services in return. If that is your definition, then yes, we share for advertising — and you can stop it at any time using the options in Advertising and your choices.

We do share information with the service providers who run parts of our operation. Each handles your data under its own privacy policy and is permitted to use it only to provide its service to us:

ProviderWhat it handles
TrackManBay booking, member accounts, simulator and shot data
BookeoBay, lesson, and event scheduling and payments
MindbodyMemberships, point of sale, and recurring billing
Imagen GolfLesson booking and coaching scheduling
NetlifyWebsite hosting, security logs, and form submissions
GoogleWeb fonts, embedded maps, and Google Ads advertising and conversion measurement
MetaFacebook and Instagram advertising, audience building, and conversion measurement
PuttViewPutting green session and performance data

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, in response to a valid legal request, to protect the safety of our guests, staff, or property, to our professional advisers, or to a buyer if our business is sold or reorganized. If that happens, this policy continues to apply to information transferred until the new owner posts its own.

Advertising and your choices

We run paid advertising on Meta and Google, including remarketing — showing our ads to people who have already visited this site. If you would rather not be part of that, you have several options, and none of them affect your ability to book, play, or hold a membership with us.

Opting out does not mean you stop seeing ads — it means they stop being targeted based on your visit here. We do not use sensitive information to target advertising, and we do not knowingly target advertising to anyone under 18.

Email and text messages

If you give us your email address or mobile number, we may send you messages about your booking, account, league, or membership. These are part of the service and are not marketing.

Marketing messages are opt-in and separate. You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message, and you can stop marketing texts by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply and frequency varies. Consent to marketing is never a condition of booking or membership. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages about a booking you have made.

How long we keep information

We keep booking, membership, and purchase records for as long as you are a customer and afterward for as long as we need them for tax, accounting, warranty, and legal purposes — generally three years. Contact form submissions are kept while we deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterward. Video surveillance footage is overwritten on a rolling basis, typically within 30 days, unless it is retained for an incident. Simulator and shot data held in your TrackMan account is retained according to TrackMan's own policy and is yours to manage in your account. Aggregate traffic statistics are kept for up to 30 days by our hosting provider, and data collected by our advertising partners is retained under their own policies, which you can control through the options in Advertising and your choices.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to:

Email killian@tgp.golf and we will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may have to keep some records even after a deletion request where the law requires it.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law — including the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your information, and to appeal a decision we make about a request. We apply the choices above to everyone who asks, regardless of where they live, so you do not need to establish residency to exercise them.

Children

Golfers of all ages are welcome at our facility, but this website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from anyone under 13. Where a guest under 18 books, plays, takes lessons, or joins a league, we expect a parent or guardian to provide and manage their information. If you believe a child has given us information directly, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections to this site, access controls on our systems, and reputable providers who process payments so that card data never touches our own systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by Pennsylvania law.

Other sites

When you follow a link to a booking platform, payment provider, coaching site, or social channel, you leave our site and that company's privacy policy governs what happens next. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of sites we do not operate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our operation changes. The current version always lives on this page with its effective date at the top. If we make a change that materially affects how we use information we have already collected about you, we will tell you by email or a notice on this site before it takes effect.
